How do I know if a TV is good for watching in a bright room?

If you're watching TV in a bright room, look for a model with high peak brightness and good reflection handling. OLED TVs generally offer excellent picture quality but may struggle in extremely bright environments compared to QLED or LED TVs, which tend to be brighter. Many modern TVs also feature anti-reflective coatings to minimize glare. A TV with at least 500-600 nits of brightness should perform well in a bright room, but higher-end models can reach 1,000 nits or more for even better performance in well-lit spaces.
